This is my hardware output from Linux for the GPU I am attempting to find drivers for running Windows 8.1 OS.

03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Curacao PRO [Radeon R7 370 / R9 270/370 OEM] (rev 81)

I have not been able to find the correct Windows 8.1 driver. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

These are the driver files I tried.

amd-catalyst-14.4-64bit-win8.1-win8-win7-whql-aug

All have halted installation with the following error "Setup has detected an incompatible build. Setup will now exit."

I am confused are you using a Linux or Windows OS?

AMD stopped supporting Windows 8/8.1 in 2017 thus the last driver is from 2017. 

Do you have a APU installed?

Please post your computer info including Make & Model of your Motherboard, CPU, GPU and Windows or Linux version installed?

I used Linux to retrieve information about the hardware.   I am attempting to install Windows 8.1 and that is not in a virtual machine Just regularly to actual hardware.

These are the last drivers for your card. I am assuming this is not a laptop.
