Issue:
>Cant extend 3rd display

>XFX r9 280x

Error when selecting 3rd display:

(selected extend)

Troubleshooting attempted:
>restart after update
>uninstall and reinstall drivers
>try different combinations
>>can use all 3 displays, 2 at a time; not 3 at a time.
>googled the heck out of this issue.

>Worked fine before the update.

INFORMATION REQUIRED WHEN POSTING A QUESTION

how are each monitors connected to the computer GPU card (HDMI, DP, DVI-D, VGA) ?

Don't know if this is any help since I don't have the above information: R9 280x Triple Monitor not working

Here another where it mentions you need to have an ACTIVE adapter (if you are using one) for your monitor to be seen: XFX R9 280X won't detect third monitor with Mini DP. - [Solved] - Displays
