Driver version 23.2.2 Breaks PC

hello all,

I am having a major issue trying to update drivers for my 6600xt. This is the third driver that has broken my system and caused it to hard lock. I tried everything from DDU,amd cleanup utility only to have the same issues. The only driver right now that seems to be stable is 23.2.1. After going to 23.2.2 I had to reinstall 23.2.1. I don't understand the problem. I know it's 100% the drivers because I was having the hard locks before 23.2.1 on 2 other releases. Then I try to go to the most recent and the same problem returned. As of now I am scared to update drivers in the future at all. Windows 11 is up to date.  How is it possible only 1 driver out of 3 is good?

I still have v22.11.2

I always wait before installing newly released drivers.

Ya I have never had issues like this before with graphics drivers. Something is happening where the drivers are becoming corrupted or something or are just not working right in win 11. At least the one I am using now is working and not hard locking my pc.

I did have problems with v22.11.2 and after motherboard bios update same gpu driver now works good. I did have crashes but my bios was old and v22.11.1 did work good before bios update but v22.11.2 did not.

I now have agesa 1.2.0.7 with b450 tomahawk max and ryzen 2700x. I must say improvement is big but I was afraid to do it for 1 year and many information on internet can scare someone without experience.

Its best to wait little before installing new driver just to see if others did face any problems but again even if others didnt you can. its why we have older driver versions available to download. its easy to remove gpu driver with ddu and install other version. In ddu I check only 2 last amd options (minute 3:00) and after driver uninstall I manualy remove gpu driver folder |drive C---AMD---gpu driver folder| and after that I install new driver. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDK0_dAxsmA
