I recently upgraded my system, everything but the gpu for obvious reasons. Though I will eventually buy a new GPU once prices come down, I am temporarily using a HD 5970 & HD 5870 in tri crossfire. Thats what I used in my old setup that was not working due to a mobo issue for the past 4 years.
Now that I have the system up and running, I have noticed that the there is no option to enable crossfire anywhere.
The second GPU is disabled and remains disabled.
I have read it in multiple forums that the newer crimson softwares dont have the crossfire dll files anymore.
Why is that? The older drivers did work, so AMD forcing a new purchase by bottlenecking crossfire?
