Hi all,
Recently I got myself a (second hand) Vega Frontier graphics card in an external graphics unit, to use with my home laptop.
Every 10 minutes or so while playing CS2, my screen will go black, the fans start working on full tilt and I have to turn it off and on again before anything works again, including restarting whatever applications were running on it.
I suspect it's something to do with outdated graphics drivers or something, as I've tried it in a friend's conventional PC and I had absolutely zero problems.
My laptop is confirmed to support e.G.P.U.s, and the unit itself has said that my system would be compatible with the graphics card I have installed.
I also made sure to download the latest available drivers, as initially I was using the pro edition of AMD software which couldn't update my drivers any later than one of the Q23 versions.
Any ideas?
I'd love to hear someone's advice.
