I constantly crash/black screen daily.

My screen goes black for 1-3 minutes and finally fixes itself.

I tend to black screen mainly when I alt-tab to different applications although there have also been multiple other times when I was just watching a video, recording a video, using a VM, playing games, taking a screenshot, etc.

Sometimes there will be errors in the Event Viewer-Windows Logs-Application-Error events and other times nothing will be there.

Things I have tried:

Reinstalling drivers/using different versions

Reinstalling windows 11

Using windows 10

Hmmm. . .
There is some software conflict happening. Can you attempt to sort this one out?

Or it can be other sort of issue as well.
Try disabling MPO first by putting this key through regedit

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm]
"OverlayTestMode"=dword:00000005

Try stresstesting your components one by one. CPU, RAM, GPU, maybe some of them throws errors.

What display configuration do you have? Check cable quality and their connections

Do you have your GPU connected through PCI-e riser? If yes, then try direct connection.

As another way to troubleshoot similar issues. Disable HW acceleration where you are able to do it

I have a 34-inch dell 144hz and my second monitor is an LG 24-inch 60hz.
Cable quality and connections seem to be good.

GPU is directly connected.
I forgot to mention but I have already disabled HW acceleration on multiple platforms such as chrome, discord, etc.

I will try disabling MPO.

Any recommendations on stress testing the CPU, RAM, GPU?

Hmmm...
For CPU there is tool called CoreCycler
It will run stress test on each of the cores one by one. I personally found that most consistent ways to check for errors it to use SSE Heavy or HeavyShort test. About 10 minutes per core for cycle. And about 3 cycles total at least should show that CPU is stable enough. If it isn't CoreCycler will throw exception specific to core that failed and continue testing cores that didn't fail.

For RAM there is TM5, and Anta777 configurations either Extreme or ABSOLUT profiles for hardcore RAM stress.
Also there are memory oriented stress tests in Y-Cruncher. They are more effective on detecting severe mistakes faster, but may be bit less sensitive than TM5 with Anta profiles. . .

For GPU . . . This is tough question.
To test GPU CORE i am currently using Warframe --> Iron Citadel location, or Archon hunt. For example i can freely run Superposition at 2915 set. Warzone will get stable enough only at around 2890. But Waframe will ***** around even if i set 2875. 2865 felt stable for me, but at this point i am not sure if core OC was worth it for me (because undervolt curve doesn't reach OC line)

For VRAM There are OCCT and MSI Kombustor But they can only show toughest mistakes. MSI Kombustor PBR Donut with artifact scanning on fullscreen should test your VRAM hard enough. Only acceptable result is 0 artifacts. Test duration should be at least 10 minutes and up to an hour. And one nuance. ALWAYS REBOOT BEFORE DOING FIRST MSI KOMBUSTOR ARTIFACT SCAN IN SESSION.

Why reboot you might ask. Simple. In process of work VRAM may become more stable than it actually is. Like sometimes i can run 2312(2300) mHz VRAM frequency with "Fast Timings level 2 (FT2)" set on without any artifacts even for an hour. . . But dare i reboot, and i will only be able to run FT2 with about 2262 (2250) set. Huge difference.

For combined CPU+RAM test there are
1) Prime95 - Large FFT or Blend
2) Y-Cruncher - Everything in Stress test

For heavy multicore load test
1) Prime95 - Smallest FFT (beware, CPU may become toasty hot on this one. Depends on your cooling solution)
2) Y-Cruncher - more CPU focused stress tests.

Steelseries refers to some keyboard, mouse, webcam or similar? I would generally avoid such programs from Asus Crate to... everything. My Logitech would like to install some RGB software, but I don't allow it. My Mouse would like to do that too every time you unplug/plug it, I won't let it. These things are poorly written code which no one updates, at least not properly.

I use SteelSeries to record gameplay. Clips basically.

Also, it's not just poorly written software. I have also experienced this with several other applications such as obs.

Ehmmm... Why using some third-party tool besides OBS, though? You can do it via Adrenalin. Basically with GPU driver control utility.

I like the interface of the clipping software. Regardless, it isn't just a SteelSeries issue.

If I am running only OBS and Chrome I shouldn't be having these issues but I am?
