Hello, Im new in this forum and I would really appreciate any help with this.
I have an old laptop (Toshiba Satellite P50-B-103) which I use to work and after a windows update It crashed (black screen after Toshiba logo) and I had to restore to a previous point (and unistalled all the updates). But now my graphic card doesn't seem to work (in device manager I only have "Windows Basic Display Adapter") and if I want to install the last version of the AMD drivers just before it finishes my laptop freezes and I have to restore over and over again everytime I've tried.
Is my graphic card useless now? These are my laptop features:
Solved! Go to Solution.
1. Windows 8.1 must be fully updated..all updates. When checking, if you do not get the message 'there are no more updates' keep checking until you do.
2. The Intel graphics driver must be the latest from Intel support > https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
and installed before the AMD drivers.
3. Download and install the correct AMD driver here. There will be no more updates for your card. Ignore any notices.

Thanks A LOT!!!!!!!!
For a few days my laptop worked just fine but then again, it crashed and my laptop died. I assume I've lost graphic card now. I re installed Windows 10 and I'm in the same situation as before. Is it too much old my graphic card or is it an unsolved problem between Windows and AMD?
I'm in the same situation. Can't find a solution online for this.
