Here's my situation: I wanted to disable zero rpm mode since, I think, 50 degrees in idle state is pretty hot (because of idling fans). I set custom tuning for GPU with fan tuning enabled only (GPU and VRAM tuning disabled): disabled zero rpm, enabled advanced control with custom fan speed curve, apply these settings - and after some time (usually a couple of days) using these settings pc suddenly crashes even on a desktop, after windows restart GPU settings revert to default where zero rpm is enabled. What should I do to just disable zero rpm without any risk of crashing?
My PC specs:
Ryzen 9 5950x
Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming 4
Sapphire RX 7800 XT Pure
8x2 GB Patriot Viper Steel 4133 MHz
PSU Montech Titan Gold 850W

You could give Sapphire TriXX a try, or another 3rd party utility such as MSI Afterburner.

I think the problem is not fan configuration. I believe is an adrenalin issue.
I m having a similar problem on boot on last days adrenalin revert it to default settings and i m using custom fans for long time and never had problems with it.
But FunkZ is giving u an alternative solution using Trixx that is a good app for fans configuration.
Thanks for the heads up - had the same suspicion about Adrenalin itself. Didn't manage to customize fan speed through Trixx since there's no option like that (only for nitro+ GPUs, I guess), so i'll try Afterburner. If there'll be any problem, I'll put it here.
Yes i m on same situation as you . I had several Nitros and i used Trixx too to set fans but now im with a Pulse and is not possible to change fan settings there.
Usually i use Adrenalin too.
Last Trixx verions are a crap for us. That problem you and i have at this moment is an Adrenalin problem, however i updated my bios and only since then i m having that problem i talked before about settings reverted to defaults during boot process. Let s see next adrenalin version if can solve the bug.
Honestly i don t like much afterburner because of wrong reads about my clocks, but in u situation if is a persistent problem better u use Afterburner.
