I have an HP Envy x360 15-bq108ca with a
AMD Ryzen 5 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx installed
I have the following operating system installed:
Kubuntu 19.04
Kernel 5.0.0-15-generic
OpenGL version string: 4.5 (Compatibility Profile)
Mesa 19.0.2
Since upgrading this instance from 18.10 every time the firmware is updated I have to manually delete the following file:
/lib/firmware/amdgpu/raven_dmcu.bin
and rerun
sudo update-initramfs -u -k all
Who and where would be the best place to submit a bug report and who is the maintainer of this firmware package at AMD.
Also, any idea what is happening here? And what is that firmware file for specifically?
There is also still issues with random freezing but much less now, I believe when I am running a Windows based Virtualbox VM.
