Simply put, newly built CPU, 5950x with 6900xt... with a vanilla/newly installed ubuntu, the 20.45 install on amd's website does not work... has anyone got this to work in ANYWAY... willing to downgrade or using a specific kernel... don't care... just need to use openCL...
Got the device to be recognized by "cp"-ing the firmware files as described in https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-amdgpu-unified-linux-20-45
All my attempts have "clinfo" output that I have 1 platform but 0 devices...
