According to PGI website, it supports AMD CPU up to Piledriver.
Well that is better than Intel.
But in a forum, it states version 18.1 has ryzen and epic options.
So perhaps PGI are not refreshing their docs enough.....

I downloaded the Community Edition (1 year license like Intel student) and spent an hour scrolling though manual.
Yes it does generate code for Ryzen! Hooray.
