hi. quick question when i install amd software dose it reset my pc or do i get to keep all of my stuff??

It only affects any radeon software settings, does not remove games/apps, or other non amd programs.

An exception may be some laptop specific features/functions ?

Nope, but in the Apps tool bar (top right) there is a circled (?) that leads to 'Help Center' articles.
