AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition - Zero RPM - BSOD - Game Crashes

The Zero RPM should be disabled by default. I have experienced crashes in numerous games and blue screens of death (BSOD) with Windows software. The issue is that the Zero RPM feature doesn't ramp the fans fast enough to cool the GPU resulting in overheating. If you guys have the full install of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition be sure to turn off that feature.

Steps in turning off Zero RPM:

1. Go to performance

2. Tuning

3. GPU Tuning Control - Manual Tuning (Custom)

3. Fan Tuning - Enabled

4. Zero RPM - Disable

Zero RPM seems to work fine on my reference cards, no issues here with crashing as reported. I believe the turn-on temp is around 55°C or just over 130°F.

The only "problem" I've noted is my son leaves his computer turned on sitting in a game menu for extended periods of time, and the temp is just under that fan turn-on speed so the entire cooler reaches those low 50°'s. Over time this will likely degrade the TIM and require replacement sooner.
