amd software version error 

Hello, lately I have been getting amd software version errors all the time, even though the latest version is installed, I delete it and reinstall it from the beginning. Sometimes it accepts it, sometimes it does not, I installed the AMD compatibility troubleshooter and it says the latest version is installed, it says a new version is not found, I am very confused, I get the same error every 1-2 weeks, it is not up-to-date. When I install the versions, I get errors in the games. I don't know what to do anymore, please help.

Hi there!

I'm sorry to read that you have some issues. I am by no means an expert, but my humble suggestion would the following.

  1. Be sure you are on the latest drivers for your motherboard, chipset etc.
  2. Download the desired version of Adrenalin and DO NOT INSTALL!
  3. Download DDU, extract the folder AND DO NOT RUN IT!
  4. Enter safe mode with your pc.
  5. Run DDU with safe mode. Uninstall the drivers. At this point, be sure that when you restart your pc, you are disconnected from internet (You need to do this in order to avoid Windows Update downloading their own drivers)
  6. Restart your pc (Again, be sure to be disconnected from internet).
  7. Install the Adrenalin version that you previously downloaded.
