I am the owner of AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE and I would like to add the game Stalker 2 in the AMD software: adrenaline edition, the software does not automatically catch the game, so I try to add it manually, to which it writes to me:
Stalker2-WinGDK-Shipping.exe
You do not have permission to open this file.
Contact the owner of the file or the network administrator to get permission.
I feel like I am just with games downloaded on Xbox. Can you tell me how to fix it?
dude i have the same problem and no game i downloaded from gamepass doesn't display in amd software. for this reason i can't use afmf2 it's ridiculous.
I guess there's not much to be done.
Same problem with msfs24 from Microsoft store...
If you still need help, I found a solution (that I have not tested) that someone else posted on a different website:
"I have been working on this problem for about 1 day, game pass games were not being added to my amd software and I could not take advantage of features like afm2. I found the solution for Stalker 2 and other games.
First of all, we need to access the WindowsApp file, for this we choose File Explorer > View > Show hidden files
then we go to this directory for stalker 2
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\GSCGameWorld.S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2HeartofChernobyl_1.6.420.0_x64__6fr1t1rwfarwt\Stalker2\Binaries\WinGDK
Stalker2-WinGDK-Shipping.exe Right-click and select Create Shortcut. You can save the shortcut on the desktop or in the same folder; it's completely up to you.
Then we go into the amd software and manually add this shortcut from the add game section.
Now stalker 2 is added to amd adrenaline and we can enjoy features like afm2. You can also try this for other Game pass games and it works.
You can follow the same steps for each game. Just find the main executable file of the game in WindowsApp, create a shortcut and add it to AMD Adrenaline."
Tried this and it doesn't work
