AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

Hello everyone

I have an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X and the driver details say that the driver is from 2009. I wanted to update the chipset with the AMD StoreMI but for reasons I can't explain, it doesn't do that. It then says: StoreMI requires at least one hard disk drive and one SSD function. Please configure the system without such. I'm a complete no-brainer when it comes to this sort of thing. Can you explain to me why it doesn't work?

Best regards

Ignore the driver date, that's a MS/windows thing for driver from their update store (and only supplied through MS).

Storemi has nothing to do with chipset drivers, read the release notes/faq/guide on whether you want/or need it.

Chipset drivers has a separate installer, select your motherboard socket & chipset model from the list options.

Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T..
