Hey there!
So for a while, I sometimes would have my game audio be ever so slightly out of sync with the game's video track.
This has been an issue for a long time for me, from an RX 580 all the way to an RX 6700XT, it never changed. Today, I figured it out. It is not related to the various out of sync issues AMD had in the past or video recording settings. Basically, I use some plugins on my mic (currently EqualizerAPO and some VSTs) which adds just a few milliseconds of audio processing, nothing huge. However, I noticed that disabling plugins/disabling the mic recording altogether will fix this slight out of sync audio in my game recordings. Basically, it seems that AMD Check visa gift card balance Relive syncs the video track to the mic's track (which is delayed by a tiny amount) which makes the game's audio out of sync from the video track instead of just syncing the video and the game's audio track together and playing my mic track on its own with its little delay. There's not much to be done currently beside optimizing my mic processing to the point it's not noticeable, but it'd be nice for the audio/video syncing to be handled differently. I know it's mostly a niche issue, but hey. Thank you!
Hey there!
Thanks for sharing your discovery about the audio sync issue with AMD Relive. It’s great that you managed to pinpoint the problem. It seems the mic plugins are introducing a slight delay, causing the game audio to go out of sync with the video.
For now, optimizing your mic processing to minimize the delay is a good workaround. Hopefully, AMD will address this niche issue in future updates to handle audio and video syncing more effectively. Sharing this insight with the AMD support team might also help bring attention to the problem. Thanks for the detailed explanation—this could be helpful for others experiencing similar issues. Happy gaming!
