AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics problem

I'm unable to update my graphics driver, which is AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics. I get a message 'The version of AMD software that you have launched is not compatible with your currently installed AMD driver graphics driver' - but I've just downloaded the latest AMD Adrenaline Software version, or so I think? Do I need to use a different graphics driver? I'm not a techie so kindly provide me a step by step process in case I've not done it correctly. Thank you.

download the driver that says 'amd software andrenalin edition with Polaris and Vega Graphics support' in the driver release note page

AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics, What Laptop do you have, Most other Brands use a specific CPU/APU Driver modified with help from AMD for proprietary reasons. If no AMD driver will work from AMD. Then find (search) the Laptop Brand  specific CPU/APU Driver example ( Dell AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics)
