I was updating my drivers using the AMD Adrenaline software and after a few hours of having the newly updated drivers, my laptop froze and wouldn't unfreeze unless I held down the power button. On launch, my laptop would freeze and I could only enter safe mode. I reinstalled windows 10 multiple times but unless I disabled the AMD Radeon HD8970m graphics driver in device manager, then my laptop would freeze after a few minutes. I currently have the driver disabled and I'm worried if i try to update or enable the driver it would cause my laptop to freeze again. When I go into properties for the driver and select driver details, it says no driver files are required or have been located.
My laptop is the Alienware 17 R2.
