Amd overlay buggy

Got the new 7900 xtx right. and whenever i try playing a game with the overlay metrics the one that shows fps and everything. The overlay slighly lowers my fps by like 10% and then also it flashes in and out of the game causing my game to stutter every 5 seconds or so.

Mine is doing the same thing, I can't seem to pin down what it is. 

 

I've tried disabling Freesync (in driver, windows and monitor).

I've tried disabling MPO (despite not having the mpo issues

I've tried ddu and amd's removal tool

I've tried reinstalling adrenaline but leaving ryzenmaster sdk  and link uninstalled.
