AMD Not supporting the OS I have but its the OS it supports

I have a Windows 64 Bit operating system I7 with an AMD r9 290x sapphire ultimate edition graphics card, the drivers were not updating and stuck on the packages unloading. Reinstalled AMD for it to start saying it does not support my OS which makes no sense as I previously had it.

It helps to know which Windows version you have.

AMD doesn't support Windows 8/8.1 only Windows 7 & 10 at the moment.

But if you are using Windows 10 OS and you are getting a AMD installation error code 182 then there are two other threads with similar issues with the latest driver.

Found the solution, I believe my PC was saying my OS is currently updated to the latest but it wasnt, I installed the Microsoft Xbox gaming app which actually told me I needed windows updates it updated it for me.... Not that this is an ideal solution but it worked for me. (It's installing now), if the problem continues i'll be sure to let you know.

Updating OS to the latest seems to have fixed this issue, now dealing with error 195.
