Hey just bought ur radeon RX 7900 xtx.
Did a ddu uninstall and installed adrenalin 23.12.1
coming from NVidia 2080ti and the card is alright minus a lot of hiccups. (different topic)
ISSUE 1:
when enabling noise suppression in the adrenalin software audio settings, the 'AMD streaming microphone' would not show up under SOUNDS-> RECORDING, in the sounds control panel.
I had no way of selecting the microphone input for discord or games.
Issue 2:
Now today, (week later) the microphone suddenly shows up in my sounds control panel.
Now the new problem is that I can not change the quality of the output.
It's currently stuck at "2 channel , 16bit, 16000 Hz (Tape Recorder Quality)"
I use 2channel 24bit, 48000 Hz for everything on my pc since my microphone mixer can only be set to 2ch, 24bit, 4800hz.
Can I get some help changing the quality for issue 2 please? :c
I think issue 1 may have been solved by setting up my streaming profile.. but AMD needs to make this clear in their tutorial.
Extra info for anyone with the same problem:
Today what I did differently was, I connected my media channel(in my case its twitch), then I enabled microphone in the Records & Stream tab.
I enabled Record Microphone.
I setup my streaming settings as if I were to stream. Thats about it. I'm not actually going to stream.
But after that, the microphone appeared.
I hope this helps someone and I hope someone can help me. :')
