AMD graphics driver responsible for monitor losing signal when turning it off and on

Hello

So I got a Samsung S24D300H 24.0" 1920 x 1080 60 Hz Monitor
Samsung S24D300H 24.0" 1920 x 1080 60 Hz Monitor (S24D300H) - PCPartPicker

I've had this monitor for a while, I took it from my previous pc build and kept it on my new build.

The quality is still perfect but every time I turn of my screen and on it flickers black and white pixels and then flashes green, blue , purple, etc... till I switch the mode. This started happening since yesterday when I updated my graphics driver and then did a system restore to roll back to the previous version and at the time I thought that fixed it but it came back!

If I switch to analog it displays normal again until I turn the screen off and on again.

Switching to an even earlier version of the driver doesn't fix the issue.

If I remove AMD Adrenaline Edition it doesn't happen again.

After that windows downloads a basic driver. If I'm on a "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" it doesn't happen but as soon as it downloads another driver that correctly matches that of my graphics card it starts happening again.

In safe mode the issue does not occur.

I'm currently on the latest version of AMD Adrenaline Edition 24.8.1
