Hello all,
I have read other threads with similar issues but have been unsuccessful in coming up with a fix for my problem.
I have a Firepro W5100, I am attempting to update the driver, don't recall have any issues in the past doing so, and get the attached error message.
From other threads it sounds like @fsadough has been a very helpful resource for this issue, if there is anyone else who can lend some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Yes, FSADOUGH - AMD Moderator for Professional GPU cards, would be the best person to assist you. But he seems to be either on Holiday vacation or very busy at the this time.
Hopefully he will find time to answer after New Year's in January 2022.
I have exactly the same problem, cannot update FirePro W5100 driver! Always I get the same error. It tells me that I should have OpenGL at least 2.0 installed, although I have 4.5 installed. Really annoying!!!
Please anyone advice me what to do!
System: Windows 10-Pro 22H2!
Best Regards, Primoz
Run GPU-Z and see what version of OpenGL it says you have enabled. Many Users in the past for some reason OpenGL has been enabled with version 1.1 instead of the normal version of 4.x.
If it is showing OpenGL 1.1 then try opening your thread at OpenGL/Vulkan Forum at AMD Developer's Forum starting here first: https://community.amd.com/t5/newcomers-start-here/bd-p/newcomer-forum
Here are a few previous AMD Forum threads concerning OpenGL version 1.1:

NOTE: If the problem isn't that it is showing OpenGL version 1.1 then AMD Moderator for Pro GPU cards will need to help you next week @fsadough
I've just run into this issue while trying to install drivers for FirePro 5000 (not 5100 but assuming the same issue) on Windows 11.
Here is how I fixed it:
