I'm getting the error mentioned in subject when trying to install AMD Chipset Drivers v2.13.27.501 for HP Pavillion 15-ec1019na laptop, which came with Ryzen 7 4800H APU. The problem is that HP doesn't provide chipset drivers for AMD platform on their support pages, only for Intel platform.
"The registry key exists indicating program already installed" in the log hints that you probably got it earlier with some update. Look for it in installed programs, remove and re-install if needed.

You were completely right. But this underlines an unexpected behaviour of installer - I, personally, would expect it to update the software, as it usually happens with the drivers.
