so here's the story i installed the adrenalin 18.12.2

but somehow i keep getting bsod (maybe because i havent updated my windows? its windows 10 1809)

so i re install it with 18.9.3 (the version i know that works perfectly for me) and the bsod is gone but now i have another problem

the setup is always opened when i turn on my pc

i included the screenshot of it in attachments thank you

btw i already tried to re install it again twice and deleted the setup files everytime but its still re appearing

This started happening to me recently, anyway I got it to stop like this:

1. Open Task Scheduler

2. Select the Task Scheduler Library

3. Find the task ModifyLinkUpdate

4. Right-click on the task and select Disable

Implemented solution.... issue still happening on driver version 24.8.1

Why can't AMD release drivers that don't cause issues?

Same! Just noticed this after updating the Adrenaline Software to 24.8.1

It's nowhere in the Windows startup items, still it shows up on each reboot. Have just done the Task Scheduler thing, will reboot & check.

Hi,

I've discovered a further fix because I had this same issue, it would still open after my PC locked or went to sleep.

It's a small step after you disable "ModifyLinkUpdate" right click and go to properties, In there select the "Triggers" tab I had 2 triggers in mine one for workstation unlock and one for log-on. You can edit these and disable them. 

So far this fix has resolved the issue completely.

well it didn't work for me i disabled
AMDinstallLauncher
AMDLikUpdate
ModifyLinkUpdate
StartCN
StartDVR

in TaskScheduler
both the main task and the triggers i dont know what to du next
