Hello there,

I am hoping to problem-solve together with someone on issues relating to my GPU driver time-outs I've gotten on this PC since I purchased it a couple years ago.  It's literally been many driver updates/clean installs/ factory-resets on this GPU and I've never found a solution.  Quite frustrating.

It'll occur while I am doing gaming.  It doesn't seem to happen after any particular length of time in gaming but happens often enough to where it drives me crazy.

What else, I guess the specs should come:

I have EasyDriver installed for other various driver updates, recently updated my BIOS, and have previously tried AMDs Display Driver Uninstaller and factory reset.

Hello,

Have you tried uninstalling Radeon Software?
This software can be a source of problems, and more precisely with the 5000 series, where AMD tried to compete with Nvidia, by making settings with Radeon

I had to uninstall it myself, to fix the black screen issue, at the time

Yes I have in the past just tried going with a clean install of the driver without the supporting software and that did not help.  But, after watching a YouTube video yesterday I tried a NEW clean install / factory reset and this time installed the driver with Windows Quality, can't remember the acronym.  With this I was able to play Doom Eternal on Ultra and did not experience a crash so *fingers crossed.* 

I think I've been updating my driver to the latest and greatest every time and maybe that wasn't the best for me and my setup.
