I have a MacBook Pro 2015. It has a wonderful Radeon R9 m370x card. It was kind of an adventure to install recent drivers, but I finally managed to find an officially supported version of a relatively current driver, i.e. Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 19.30.01.53; I am not sure why it took me so long to get there, the web is full of moaning Apple users who are unable to find newer drivers at all.
However, I did this excercise to actually run RCPS3.net on it, a PlayStation 3 emulator. I have had a PS3 for years, and still have it, but controllers go bust and so forth so I thought I gave it a try and emulate it. It uses the the Vulkan API to produce graphics, as far as I have understood, here are my two questions for you:
1. Is 19.30.01.53 enough to run Vulkan based Applications?
2. Is there any chance to install Version 20 on R9 M370X that I have overseen? The official installer, though it states it would support R9 series, will just tell me there is no compatible Radeon card found, which is kind of disappointing.
