Hey,
I recently upgraded to the 7950X3D and AsRock X670E Taichi.
My performance wasn't what I expected, and upon monitoring my CPU usage, it looks like the core parking was not working as expected. When trying to install updated drivers, I don't see the 3d vcache driver as an option.
I followed jayz2cents instructions I found on YouTube, used Revo uninstaller, tried reinstalling drivers, nada.
Today, I wiped my system, did a clean Windows 11 install, made sure my BIOS was up to date with the most recent stable version, and the auto installer still doesn't give me the 3d vcache driver as an option. I checked my services to see if the vcache service was running, and it isn't.
To answer the obvious - the 7950X3D shows in my system information as the processor installed, my motherboard supports it, I've experimented with various bios and AMD installer versions over the last couple months before wiping my system and starting fresh earlier today.
If at all relevant, I'm using a Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD.
AMD support has been unhelpful, to put it politely. Is there somewhere I can download the 3D VCache driver directly? And/or, is there something else I'm missing?
