Ok so I know I am not the only one so just adding my frustration to the bag.
Both the latest adrenalin 24.6.1-24.7.1 crashes every game on boot then having to go through the whole process of uninstalling and re-setup of settings!
Also logs me out of steam as crash on boot.
both very annoying do AMD guys not do simple tests like boot a few games?
anyways hopefully with another added complaint Team Red pull the socks up!!
Ryzen 7 5800x3d and Rx7900xt, Windows 10, MSI 570a Pro MB oh and 2 screen
thanks

I very recently built myself a new computer with a 6750xt and ive been having a similar problem with these past 2 driver updates where every now and then games will crash in the middle of playing them. My problem isnt as bad as yours sounds as i can open games and (sometimes) play a full session (like 2 hours) and not have any problems. However it is very annoying having this issue right out the gate with this new GPU where as i never had this problem with my old Nvidia GPU. Please let me know if you find any temporary fixes to this.
thanks

The fix is to install 23.12.1 drivers which are the most stable so far.
For me 24.5.1 has been stable for every game I play which is 3-4 driving SIM's and a few others at native 4k and Fluid motion i get around 120-240 FPS depending on game.
Which rocks for me!
Just tad poor when the 24.7.1 didn't
I am an engineer myself and mistakes can be made hence i wrote 24.6.1 off and highly hoped 7.1 would of solved the issues.
As again 1st issue with the GPU really other than trying to fit the dam thing i got the sapphire triple deck talk about working blind..
AMD should definitely be doing more thorough testing to catch these issues before release. Hopefully, they sort it out soon nothing worse than having a rig that doesn’t play nice with the latest drivers.
100% agree and yep back on 24.5.1 so gaming away and happy and TBF 24.7.1 prob wouldn't change that experience just dislike seeing ready for update and knowing I can't use it.
fingers crossed for 24.8.1
