I am considering using one of these PSUs for my next build. Anyone have any experience with them? I heard that some have a nasty fan curve that can get annoying, but I need the small PSU for my next build idea.
I have always used seasonic for my PSUs, but got a deal on a EVGA 1600. I was very surprised (pleasantly) on quality of the EVGA. I cant speak on that unit, but the one i bought was top notch. EVGA seems to know what they are doing.
EVGA G-series was and likely is based on Leadex design, which is good. I have one. Only downside has been PSU fan, which has a noticeably rough sound and is kind of loud. Fortunately it is on zero rpm mode almost always.
I found a corsair one that i think is going to work. Amazing that these little PSU's pack a punch. The dimensions are 3.94 x 4.92 x 2.5 inches which is perfect for what I need. Well first time using a sfx power supply, hope it works out
