Ryzen 7 7800x it doesn't go beyond 3% in game!!!

Ryzen 7 7800x. The use of the cpu in game is only on 4 cores and in any case it does not exceed 3% of use (I repeat in game). the MB has all the VRMs needed to power it. But in any game I've tried it peaks at 10% but the average is 2-3%. Do you have any ideas on what could be limiting it in this way? configuration: MB asus b550 e-gaming ram xmp to 3600 rtx 3080ti Thor 1200W

could it be some bios setting that I mistakenly changed to overclock the cpu so only 4 cores are required for gaming?

Hello @Lazzarus Welcome to Red Team!

Most games can use up to 4 cores of a CPU. It depends on the game. Some modern games, can take advantage of more cores. Looking at your OP, I have to ask, are you sure you have a AMD Ryzen 7 7800x? (This CPU is not available).

Thanks Sam. and yes you are right, the processor is a 5800x. so when
you can see the videos of the tests on youtube, the cpu reference concerns a specific core and not the overall use! Thank you, you are very kind.
