Take lots of pictures as you assemble your machine, especially of that new design PSU.

My cpu and guy are out for delivery.

A 4 TB M.2 drive?  That must have cost you a pretty penny.

289 from Best Buy.  My 2 tb will be partitioned.  800gb for os. The rest for programs/ pictures

then my 4tb will be for games.

Just an FYI.  I've learned to keep the OS and programs on one drive, and my data (and games) on another drive, not just a partition on the same drive.  I consider pictures part of my data but you may not.  I guess it dates back from the HDD days when a drive might fail, taking the OS and your data with it.  Frequent data backups can protect you from this of course, but I don't do them often enough.  The OS drive is used all the time, but a data drive isn't used nearly as much.

I keep all my stuff on my C: drive for now since my original OS drive kept getting corrupted. No issues so far, but if my drive fails I lose all my games. It's not ideal but for now it works.

I want that motherboard so bad but it's just way out of my price range. Tell us how it performs.

Exciting news—my new system is on the way! I'm setting up an MSI X470 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 64 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, a Gigabyte RX 7600 OC, and a 2TB 980 PRO with Heatsink. Can’t wait to get it up and running!

Sounds to me like you are about to have a pretty sweet build. Good to hear.

@whitesmaverick , you should start a new discussion topic and post pictures of your AM4 build as it comes together.

I think he is being facetious, that is my old computer hardware.

Nice system!

That PSU mounts higher than I expected.  Can it be moved down at all or is that the only place for it?

That is the Corsair 6500 case. That is where the mount is located. I am sure I could mod it if I really wanted to.

I still have cable management to do and playing with fan positions and radiator positions  to keep the cpu cooler. I really want to titan AIO. But waiting on that is a killer.

That build is beautiful. I can't get over the motherboard. Hoping price will go down when the newer boards release. I love that GPU too. It is awesome that those fans are so easy to replace.
