Just built me a few new computers one thing is for sure Video cards are so expensive hard to get one good one let alone 2 for SLI.
Any way I just picked up a new Ryzen 9 3900X (I know it's not new, but it was new in BOX!) to replace the Ryzen 7 3700X in the main Theater room. And that CPU replaced the CPU in the main suite that had the Ryzen 7 1700X.
So, my sweet power gaming system and HT entertainment center (Full Atmos) is as follows.
ASUS TUF X570 Gaming-Plus Mother Board.
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Stock setting 3.7-4.6 GHz. 12 core 24 Thread. Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML280 Mirror Cooling.
16GB DDR4 RipJaws 3466 MHz RAM (3466MHz).
ASUS TUF GTX-1650S-4G.
Corsair CX750M PSU.
Modded Deep Cool case, I took the front glass off. The air flow was absolutely poor with the front glass.
All cases today seem to be glassed up and so not COOL at all. I have no other mods to the case or system it is running at full stock OC and is so fast no need to OC at all. the system runs so cool it is not even funny now!
I average 150FPS in every game at 4K I play. WOW, Fortnight, Halo master chief collection and so many more.
It is the only way to game or even operate the Atmos home theater.
Yes, that is correct this is the heart and soul of all my home entertainment in the main area of the home it also runs the sound in the kitchen and the hot tub.
It connects to the DENON AVR-X3700H that powers the sound system, Klipsch speakers and a Sony 4K 65" Ultra.
And yes, I get over 150+FPS at 4K resolution on ALL games!
I will post pics of the other AMD systems I have the one in the main Suite is also a Denon my older on that is still full Atmos and I made the case for the Ryzen 7 3700X and it is one of a kind.
I have to say this I have over clocked this CPU to 4.45GHz and it is a MONSTER just pure POWER!
No need to even OC this CPU really there is NO need at all, with the 12 cores most programs cannot even use 4 cores let alone 8. And 24 threads? OMG!
I just love AMD even my FX8300 4.4Ghz system still games with crossfire video cards in that one lol.
I have way too many AMD systems.
Crossfire and SLI are pretty much dead in the water so I wouldn't waste your time on that endeavor
Nice looking setup .. I always opt for a mesh front case for the very reason you took your glass off the front of your Deepcool case.
Is your RAM actually running at 3466? (Task Manager>Performance>Memory) ..and is your FCLK running 1:1? IF it is, you got a real nice 3900x there.
..and you play @ 4k with a GTX 1650 SUPER™ 4GB? 150 fps no less?
Yes to both your questions!
I did a CPU-Z benchmark while running VLC media player having web browser going and look at that RUN! that is the best score I have gotten yet!
When people talk about how there i9 1100K whatever other numbers they use for them stupid CPUs I just laugh!
I post my scores and they think I am lying or something.
I think this is the best system EVER! I can run any game at 4k ultra settings and get 150+FPS on a 65" TV set! in my games I am AMAZED! I have seen 233FPS in halo to! say this on some tech sites and they come unglued like now way that CPU is played out and Linus Tech and everyone else have paned that CPU out first day it's 3 years OLD and outdated. Well I say BS to that crap!
This thing is far better than they said it was!
Do you have Ryzen Master installed? IF so, under Memory Control>Coupled Mode .. does it say ON or OFF?
...and with a GTX 1650 SUPER™ 4GB video card .. you say you are getting 150+ fps at 4K Ultra settings with every game you play?
I'm glad you are digging your setup
Those 150+ fps you're getting are for eSport titles like PUBG/Fornite/Valorant, right? The R9 3900X is good, have one myself (just replaced by the R9 5900X), and I've gotten the parts I need to build a 2nd gaming rig, and a powerful one at that, it'll replace my aging i7 4770K rig.
Btw, that's a nice lookin' rig.....
No sports games. Steam games and Origen Games some fortnight and never winter.
I have Ryzen Master installed but have never used it.
I am intimidated with all the settings and stuff and I always OC or change things in the BIOS for me it is safer.
I have been with AMD since the AMD 486/DX4 I had.
AMD FTW!
I like the audio setup!
Me too 😀 .
It is the best audiophile system I have ever put together.
It is a full THX theater in my living room and master suite.
DENON and Klipsch are the BEST just like AMD is the BEST!
BTW, I have no idea why that one pic is upside down. NONE at all.
I have a Denon receiver too. A few years ago, I got hooked on speaker/crossover design/building. I read a article last fall on line array and through together this monstrosity. /audioroundtable.com/misc/nflawp.pdf
I wish I have the space for speakers and such, but having a 49" 32:9 monitor in front of me kinda eliminated that option. I've had to get soundbars instead. Pictured below is my audio set up, I was using this LG Dolby ATMOS/DTS-X soundbar, but have since switched to a Philips Fidelio B97 which is even better for music and movies. For private audio time, I'd use my iFi Micro iDSD Black Label (with various cans I have on rotation. Pictured on the desk from left to right are my three cans on rotation at the time: Sennheiser HD600, ENIGMAcoustics Dharma D1000, modded Fostex T50RP
What mod on Fostex T50RP?
Eh, I don't remember as it's been a while, I had taken one of the dozens of mods from HeadFi and modded mine according to it, I'd used the Mayflower kit IIRC.....
Edit - Oh yeah, my T50RP has MrSpeakers Alpha Pads, not the stock ones which I'd found to be uncomfortable and too thin. The Alpha Pads are much thicker, changes the sound a fair bit, making it sound way better actually.
Nice Sound Setup
It is not all carved up or looking bad without the front glass I took it off carefully and cleaned up the stuff they used to stick it to the plastic.
I wanted to post up a screen shot just one I know I am not much at taking screen shots while gaming I get into crazy game mode and take one.
But I do get 100+ FPS.
