Need your help to find a SATA SSD Dock
Over the time I collected a bunch of old SATA SSD that now sit useless, I had a computer doing the NAS-like job but its kinda big and clunky, time to get over to a more smaller design with hot swaping.
Its not rocket science, i know, but if you have anything, either experience or a "hidden trick" that could help me make my choice. I would appreciate.
The most basic I'm looking after is this
4-Bay USB 3.0 SATA 2.5"/3.5" SSD/HDD Docking Station - Sabrent
Thank You

I've used Sabrent docks previously, no problems with operation although they're pretty no-frills basic, but also inexpensive. If that checks all the boxes for you I don't think that's a bad choice.
Personally I think docks are ok for quick temporary access but prefer an enclosure for more permanent storage. One with RAID and faster transfer speeds. 😀

Here's a 2½" four slot dock that fits in an internal 5¼" drive bay. Connection is SATA rather than USB 3 so slightly faster transfer speeds. And no ugly, clunky external footprint! I've used Icy Dock products previously as well and no problems to report.
