I upgraded my driver for my Radeon 6750XT to 23.8.2 and now some games won't run. I get a message about the graphics card not supporting DirectX. When I run dxdiag, it shows that both the AMD driver and the Microsoft Basic Display Driver are both loading.
My screen resolution is set to 4K, but the only supported mode under Advanced Display Properties is 800x600, 32 bit color
Device Manager only shows the AMD display adapter and the one PnP monitor.
Tech Support says the game doesn't run because I have two display drivers loading.
Shouldn't that Basic Display Adapter have gone away when the AMD drivers loaded?
