Radeon RX 7700 XT: high vram clock speed on desktop if 144 Hz and HDR is enabled

Hello.

I have recently acquired a Radeon RX 7700 XT. Yesterday i noticed that (edit: on the desktop, with only the browser and Adrenaline running) the VRAM is running at a clock speed of around 2240 MHz. After a bit of testing my settings i noticed that this happens when i enabled HDR and set the refresh rate for one of my monitors to 144 Hz. If i disable HDR the VRAM clock speeds go down to around 130 MHz, if i keep HDR but reduce the refresh rate it goes down, the exact value depending on the refresh rate i choose. The GPU clock speed is very low most of the time, often 0 MHz.

My monitor setup is as follows:
- Acer G246HYL, connected via HDMI, Full HD, 60 Hz Refresh Rate, no support for HDR
- LG Ultragear 27GL650F, connected via Displayport, Full HD, 144 Hz Refresh rate, HDR enabled

Is this "normal"? Could the problem be that only one display uses HDR or is the combination of HDR and a 144 Hz refresh rate the issue?
