New i5 13600k Asus Z790 build boots fine with old 1080 GTX. As soon as i swap in the RX 6950 XT it'll post but go to BIOS. The CSM Launch setting that is typically enabled to boot me into Windows 10 is reverted to disabled. Any efforts to re-enable and reboot into Windows takes me back to the Bios. Putting the old video card back in fixes the issue.
Not sure if there's a setting I am missing or something. I tried hard-setting some of the PCI-E versions from "Auto" to "Gen4" but it helped to no avail.
I can't get past the bios. Every time the RX 6950 is inserted, it resets my compatibility boot settings and won't boot off my windows drive. If I pop the 1080 GTX back in, it honors the bios boot settings and goes into Windows.
i reinstalled windows with my 2nd hard drive unplugged and it installed in UEFI mode. I can now boot into windows 10 with CSM disabled and my graphics card is working. Odd that the graphics card didnt like that particular setting,.
