Graphics Cards

My computer will run one graphics card but not the other.

I just recently built a computer that has ryzen 7 3700x and rx 5600 xt in it. But upon switching that graphics card with a rx 5700 xt it will not boot and get stuck on the vga light. Yet I know the graphics works because I have tested it in a different build.

I have done some research and found that it could be the power supply as it uses a split cable, but I am not able to test two different cables as the power supply didn’t come with one.

also could it have something to do with my bios being in csm instead of uefi. My motherboard is a b550m pro-veg WiFi.

Unlikley its the PSU. You would be getting crashes but it would stil POST if it was insufficient.
You migt need to clear CMOS. Watch Jay's Two Cents video about troubleshootig GPU's and follow the steps it should lead you on the right path (the video where the VBIOS versioning was the issue)
