Graphics Cards

In 2021, i built my pc with 5700g processor .I hadn't purchased any graphics card at that point. Now  i am searching for one but confused how to select one. What gpu will be best pair with processor. My main use is for 2k  gaming  and video editing. What things should i need to consider while buying. Currently I am thinking of 7800xt , will it be a good pair?

The 7800XT is a good choice for 1440p gaming. You may also want to check out the closely priced 7900GRE.

Keep in mind the 5700G is only capable of PCIe 3.0 so there will be a minor performance loss for most PCIe 4.0 cards. Just stay away from x4 or x8 cards like the 6500XT or 7600XT as those will be significantly more impacted.
