I've been having a problem for about 1 month now, on any game (Hell let loose like Slay the Spire or Invincible present Atom Eve, for example), I've had a lot of FPS drops.
The FPS can drop from 60 (or more) to 1 and then suddenly rise again, or drop to 10 - 20 and then rise again.
The GPU was installed about 5 months ago and I had no problems.
Despite the summer heat, the GPU temperature doesn't rise particularly much (40-45°C when there's no game on).
The in-game settings on Adrenalin are 'normal'.
I don't really know what to do or where this could be coming from, I haven't changed anything since installing the GPU.

Have you already tried configuring the vram speed or clock frequency. It could also be energy problems.

Having the same issue for the last several months with my 6700XT.  Whenever I update drivers, it goes away for a while, but starts again when I reboot my PC.
