AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor Overheating while gaming

Hello there,

I'm going through CONSTANT crashes while playing Assassin's Creed. I cannot play more than 15 minutes at a time without it crashing and/or restarting due to overheating. I have no idea how to fix this. Any suggestions?

 

Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor, 3.40 GHz, 64GB RAM, Windows 11. I don't know how overlocking works or what that means so everything is set to default. I have the latest Adrenaline and AMD Ryzen Master.

Maybe time to repaste the CPU, if you are not familiar with how to do this then it would be best take it to a repair shop to have it done and ask them to test game while you have it in the shop.
