My GPU only hits 55 degrees, but hotspot hits 96. It's an ASRock phantom. It has pretty beefy cooling but obviously it's not making contact somewhere properly along the line. I've already tried returning it to the store I bought it from. They got it running at about 105 degrees hotspot as I run a custom 100% fan curve to "keep the temps down to 96". The store said as it wasn't thermal throttling it was performing as expected and refused to do anything about it.
What should my next step be? Contact ASRock? Amd? Camp out the front of the store I bought it from? I mean it's nice that it runs at 55 degrees but the delta is ridiculous, right??
