7900 xt USB C Primary Monitor

AMD Raedon RX 7900 XT
Driver Version: 31.0.23013.1023

ASRock z490 itx/tb3
Latest firmware, drivers up to date

I use the RX 7900 XT to drive and power a USB C monitor.  It is my main display in Windows.  2nd Monitor connected via DisplayPort.
Any power cycle POSTS and boots through the DisplayPort monitor all the way to Windows sign in.  It is not until I unplug and replug in my USB C monitor that it powers back up and becomes the main display again.

In certain situations like bench testing I only use my USB C monitor so no display after power on seems kind of odd. I have not tried powering it from an external source, yet.   I would rather avoid the extra cable on my desk and the monitor cycles like it is getting power.

Swapped motherboards from an ASRock Z490 to an ASRock Z590 and my USB C monitor now works as the primary off the AMD video card; all the way through POST and into Windows.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
