6700 Image Persistence

So I recently upgraded from a 970 to a 6700, and I've been having a strange problem with image persistence (similar to burn in, but temporary). This didn't start happening until after I installed the 6700, and I'm not sure what's causing it. I haven't changed anything with the monitor, and I noticed awhile ago that the color setting was on YCbCR 4:4:4 Pixel Format. I changed it to RGB 4:4:4 PC Standard (Full RGB), and it cleared the issue immediately, but only for the time being. I can see the persistence if, for example, I open a new tab in Firefox, which has a grey color. The areas in question show up as light grey "ghost"-like areas.

I don't know if it's the monitor or the GPU, but I'm very confused. It isn't a deal breaker by any means but I'd like to know what's going on.

Monitor is a DELL S2715H, 1920x1080 Pixel Resolution 27" LCD Display. Connected via an HDMI.
