650w psu for rx6800?

I’ll be upgrading my 4 year old am4 build this coming week as Im just getting back into pc gaming! It has 32gb of ddr4, a Ryzen 5 3600xt (i’ll replace that soon as well), and will soon have an rx 6800, I have a 650 watt psu though. Will that be fine to use for the next couple of months or so which by then I’ll have had definitely replaced it with a 750-800 watt one? I’ll be playing at 1440p exclusively, no overclocking. Should I under-volt, do nothing, or replace the psu entirely? (not ideal cuz the hassle but if necessary will do)

Is it a reference card or AIB?

If AIB, check for recommended PSU. But since you are using a 3600XT you should be able to use it stock anyway as 650watt is the min required.

Probably 110ish at peak for CPU and maybe 200-250ish for GPU, maybe some spikes at 300 but still doable if the PSU is at least 80+ bronze.

What is your next CPU?

As long as it's a good quality 650W power supply you should be fine. Am running a R5 5600 and 6800XT on a 650W SS Strider Gold.

As @johnnyenglish states your CPU/GPU likely peak around 400W unless you are heavily overclocking.
