However, when taking a screenshot or recording the screen in any way it appears to correct itself. I have taken two pictures with my phone to show the differences I'm seeing. Nothing is different about these photos except for one being a screenshot and the other not. The cursor is the only example I've immediately noticed for this odd darkness effect, even the surrounding colors in these pictures seem to stay the same so I don't believe its an overall color setting that can fix it. I'm unaware if there is some feature/setting I have enabled/disabled that could cause something like this but I'm hoping to find a solution to get the cursor to look like the screenshot picture.
For added clarification both my monitors have the same issue and one is using a display port plug while the other is using hdmi.
