I'm trying to apply for a boot kit to upgrade the BIOS on my new AM4 socket motherboard, but the form will not accept the SN as printed on the box label.
It seems like it's impossible to reach anyone to get help with this issue.

Did your AMD Processor come in a sealed official AMD Retail box or in something else?
Also if your Serial number belongs to a OEM AMD Processor it is not covered by AMD Warranty but through the vendor or retailer.
Also some Serial number's characters might look like a letter or vice versa.
Can you upload a photo showing your Processor's information on it?
Some vendors or Retailers mainly from a foreign country sells OEM AMD Processors and not Retail AMD Processors.
Did you read and follow the exact requirements ( i believe a pic of the installed (or not ?) processor, SN, etc.. and motherboard is required), not just the box details.
I'm stuck on the AMD warranty request form where you enter shipping details and product info.
It's from this part of the form.
I got the info off the box the CPU came in.
What brand of motherboard are you running? That I'm aware off all major brands have an update app. MSI uses Live Update that will scan your system and check if you are running the latest BIOS for that motherboard.
It's an ASUS B550A-M
Some boards have a BIOS flashback feature, but mine seems not to have it.

OK looks like an ambiguous character. Thanks a whole bunch.
Why does my SN have 2 zeros and one 'O'?
