When i boot my pc normally it shows on my second display glitchy vertical lines. after a restart it shows again and i unplugged the display port cable and i switched the port on my gpu. it shows nothing and i switched back (i think the port is dead or something) and it didnt appear anything. I had this issue for months. i just want to know if is my gpu slowly dying or my monitor. and i have this issue when i alt+tab from any game  (sorry for my bad english but im romanian)

Is your motherboard BIOS up to date.

The RX 5600XT is a PCIE 4.0  x16 card and your motherboard is only a PCIE 3.0 x16 slot.  I'm not certain if that is causing your problem.  The bandwidth of the PCIE 4.0 is about twice that of the PCIE 3.0.

You never mentioned your power supply.  If you are running a 550W or 650W I would question that also.  Try each monitor on the system without the other and see if they perform OK.  Then hook both back up and see if the problem is present again.

If it ain't broke; don't fix it!

Have you tried a different display port cable completely? I'd start there, then test all the ports with the new DP cable (And/or HDMI, too if can) check all monitors ports, then lastly, the GPU. How long have you had the GPU as well? Might be under warranty and you can RMA it.

unfortunately i don't have another display port cable that means i need to buy a new one to test, i only have a one hdmi port on my gpu, that connects my main monitor, i switched the hdmi cable with a new one, and i don't have any problems with the main monitor. i bought the gpu in september of 2020

I'd tell you try the inverse then. You said the HDMI cable works fine with the main monitor so, switch the HDMI cable to the secondary monitor and DP cable with the main and see what happens. If it works like normal, then the DP cable is bad and then you could purchase another one.

i think it s something wrong with my mobo because i have a weird sound in my headset. this sound can be heard when the table is rocking because it isnt very stable. i switched the monitors and the cables and it didnt happen again. i think two days ago when these lines appears on my monitor, it comes with this sound and these lines appear when my table is rocking. i dont know how to explain better. i dont know exactly what is going on. and i dont think is the gpu causing these problems honestly because my gpu runs pretty fine in games and it doesnt overheat when playing. and these lines should appear on the both monitors if it s something wrong with my gpu
