Should I enable Expo

Okay so I got a Ryzen 7 7700x with a 4060 ti and 32 gigs 8000mhz ram (yes ik it’s beefy, i got it on sale for 100 dollars at micro center) but it’s only running at like 5300 mhz. I am wondering if I should enable expo to get the most out of my ram but I’m scared at the same time. I’m scared I’m going to have issues but at time I want to get the most out of my Ram.

Can you list your PC specs and does your motherboard support those RAM speeds? If the board supports it, I'd give EXPO a try. Be prepared to wait for RAM training though which can take up to 5 mins.

Ryzen 7800X3D - Radeon 7900XTX - MSI Tomahawk X670e MB - 64gb 6000mhz G-Skill Neo - Noctua NH D15 - Seasonic Focus V3 GX-1000W PSU - 4TB Samsung Gen. 5 NVMe - Fractal Torrent Case - ROG PG48UQ OLED

I think you should i,prove your pc Ram to find maximum chances to gain speed

Hi I don't think you'll be able to hit 8000 and enabling EXPO will only be possible if your memory kit is certified for it.

Jump on the BIOS and have a look.

Good Luck
